Question torque settings for sway bars

Hello,

Does anybody know how much torque I'm supposed to use when installing a rear sway bar on a 1990 camry? Need settings for bushing bracket and both ends of endlink. Haynes and Chilton don't really specify and I don't want to break a bolt. Damn, I hate being new at this.

thanks for any info,

Really can't tell how many lbs of torque you need. Just becareful doing taking those bolts off and don't use too much force.

14 ft. lbs. on the bushing brackets.

47 ft. lbs. on the endlinks.

The specs are from a Chiltons manual, page 8-26. Don't know why you couldn't find them.

^ In this case it doesn't matter. Your tighten down the bracket, not the bushing.
