Super Charger Help

I'm thinking about putting a electric super charger for my Gen3 Camry XLE ( 1mz Fe ). I need feedbacks and advices. It will cost me $170 total. I figure why pay like $200 something for a cold intake and why not just put a super charger for less. Has anyone out there done it ? My only concerns are:

1. Is it worth it?

2. How much do I expect to gain?

3. Will it damage my engine ?

Yeah, I suppose I should do some research before I spend my money. But, I'm too lazy to do so that's why I was hoping to get some advices from those who already walk the path.

Ok...well, IF after your search you still want an electric super charger...go for it...I'd like to see the dyno numbers myself.

Talking

Thanks, after reading the forums and looking around. I decided that I will do the Super Charger instead of the Cold Intake. I will keep you guys up to date with my little project. Spring is right around the corner and I hope to have it done by then so I can take my new horses for a ride.

If you want to put that supercharger on your car, make sure you have dual exhausts on your car. And don't forget run a dyno for us.

Dude....I probably should be joining in on the fun but I'm going to be nice.

Lets do a little thinking James....

50$ for an electric supercharger and it'll get you 500 hp....
Shit if it worked like that, Give me 500 bucks and i'd be pushing what, 5000hp?

Personally, I think this money could be used on something tested that works.
Stickers. And average sticker is probably about 10 cents right? And on average 7hp a sticker.

So we divide 50 by 10 cents and we get 500 stickers.
500 stickers x 7hp = 3500 HP.

Now 500hp vs 3500hp. I'll take 3500hp, Thanks.
