nitrious on a camry?

I looking into nitrious for my 95 camry le. I don't know much about power for cars just exterior and speakers. All i have right now is s short ram intake from ebay and i going to have 2 apexi style n1 muffler. Will I blow myself up or my engine? thats my real question.

nitrous

If your engine is in good shape and well taken care of a small amount of nitrous should be all right. A 40-60 shot is all at the most. More than that I would fix up the internals of your engine or you won't have one.

yeah it would only "blow up" if the gas is mixed in with it. I just mean he won't have any internals left because they would be shot because they couldn't handle that much extra horsepower, not because the engine literally blew up.

yeah amen to that how does NOS blow welds on an intake? I took a good look at my intake and didn't see too many welds to blow specially since combustion doesn't happen in the intake. What, is the pressure behind the 100hp shot of NOS so strong its gonna rip the intake apart, bah

Hey man, nitrous is very safe. My little 1.6 liter has handled a 75 shot without any problems. Just be sure that when you spray anything over a 50 shot, get a bigger fuel pump (Walbro 255lph works great), 2 step colder plugs and you may also want to retard your timming a little to prevent detonation. Other than that you should be fine. Hope this helped!
