I raced a civic si (and smoked it) last night with Z3 fenders... they looked kinda lame and just stuck on. I'd say if you molded them in they would look pretty tight tho.

I think there is a Gen4 with Z3 fenders in Cali. Of course you're going to need to mold it in or else it'll look weird.

But personally I won't get the fender unless I got a kick-ass bodykit.

well hehe, guys, i said z8 not z3, the grille it way different

but i know bmw should stay bmw, etc

i just think it would look nice and special
and yes i plan to mold em in not jus stick them on w/ double sided tape

and the kit i plan to get is either the full erebuni shogun or the bw front and back and shogun sides

the z8 grille is the roadster one, with the chrome on it btw

Oops sorry my bad... I read the Z8 and then Z3 everywhere else so I just replied to Z3.

But you're right. It will be very unique and if you have an extravagant body kit to go along with it, to make it a tasteful show-car then yes it will look good.

Sounds like an expensive project. Good luck!

You from Toronto?

I have to get a new front bumper cover because I have the Erebuni Style 85 front lip (very subtle) to go on it.

I want to get it done since my bumper is a little broken (the 2 vertical links at either corner) but at the same time I'm thinking about the Winter too. So I dunno what to do.

Anyone know how hard it is to put on/take off stock bumper and how much time it takes?

yo justin,
I was on 90 westbound near the MLK exit and caught a Z8 coming up in my left mirror. Never saw one on the road, much less in Cleveland, so I was all like "dang, what is that?" figured it out before it passed me...

I think the Z8 fender is slightly subtler than the Z3. It'd be pretty tight, I'm guessing....can't really visualize it tho.

The front bumper cover itself has only 4-6 screws??? I'm not talking about a lip or a kit or anything. I am referring to the actual front bumper cover. I have a gen 3 but I'm sure its not too different from gen 4 in terms of taking OEM parts off or putting them on.
