got back from the track today

Well, my car is slow as slow can be, but i still took 2nd place! We do staggered runs, so that helped me out, its my auto and my bad a$$ lights that did it for me. my best time is a 18.382@73.41 mph with a Reaction time of .507 on a .500 light (my friend were impressed with that, since i've never raced before :p)
i'm going down again, to see what i can do. The next time is august 11th, so i'll tell ya what happens then.

he only won cause i ghetto redlighted. I was at the line, and as you know, i power brake to launch. at first yellow, i pushed the gas down to rev up to about 2 grand....but didn't have the brake pedal all the way down! i rolled about 2 inches, so i red lighted! this was for first place!

Only 2nd place with an R/T like that. Did you break out of your bracket on your last run? Or did you have a crappy last run.

I took 1st place in South Bend Indiana once. It was a good day.

I was running 15.2s consistently that day with an R/T in the low .600s.

yeah, i got 50 dollars. Staggered runs are when the cars do not start a the same time. say a 15 second car is running against a 10 second car. the 15 second car gets to go 5 seconds before the 10 second car. so technically the cars should cross at the same time. Its all about reaction time and consistency

you do time trials (our track does 3) then you take an average of your times, and that is your dial in time
