Question Please help the fool!!

I've got a 92' Camry that prev owner had stereo installed but the cig lighter wont work. Install looks pro and all fuses under dash and hood look good. Any ideas what's going on?

Maybe it was used for a power source for the stereo since it's a fused source. Just a guess, you'll have to look at it yourself.

That was my first though too but wiring kit was used to hook up the stereo and I didn't see any splicing and dicing of wires behind the stereo, the cigarette lighter or behind the fuse panel.

Get a tester and test the leads of the cigarette lighter.

You either have a short in the wiring or the fuse to the cig lighter is blown.

Either way, the only way you're going to know is to troubleshoot it yourself.
