i'm losing power

this could be a general question but...

i'm running a system of only 400watts from a Rockford amp. i also have a 200watt Sony deck unit on too. to top things off, i have "Xenon Krypton" bulbs (or whatever you may call it) of 65 and 55 watts each. i also have the euro reverse glow gauges.

now here's the problem: whenever i listen to music i notice my headlights SLIGHTLY glitch or fade whenever the bass hits. my blue gauges would also fade a bit too. sometimes it's scary because it becomes really noticable after the car's been running for over an hour on the road.

so how would i solve this problem? get grounding wires? a 1-farad capacitor for my system? a separate battery? let me know...cuz i've had this problem for 2-3 years and could never find an answer.

search for the big 3, they would be the first things to upgrade

A cap fixed my problem, its 1.5 farad. All those the big 3 would be good.

Yup I would try the big 3 before thinking aout buying a cap.

the big 3...i've tried searching for it thru these forums but it was no good. it sounds pretty major, does anyone mind telling me the jist of it? thanks a bunch
