Oiling Air Filter

Hy guys, I have a cone style air filter for my CAI, I dont know whether its been oiled or not, I doubt it tho... how do I oil it and what do I need to do... Henry, whats that thing on the end of you air filter... is it important..

Just spray the oil on according to the directions on the can...make sure it's even.

If you bought it new Im pretty sure they come oiled. I have a k+ n and i bought a recharge kit that included cleaner and oil. It need to be cleaned before it was oiled.

Nah, most cheap ones don't come pre-oiled...I know because I have two cheapy ones and so does Shan unfortunately....

here's the pic. That thing is just part of the filter, it's nothing...the top of the cone is filtered as well. You can buy the oil at crap tire.
