sounds good....

but shouldn't you have asked these questions BEFORE you bought and installed the muffler???
what if the general consensus was that it sucked? then would you rip it off and get a new one???

Alumized steel will eventually rust.. but it'll most likely take years (and I do mean YEARS) before it does. SS is definately the better material.. but you didn't pick a bad muffler at all.

I paid somewhere in the ballpark of 80 or so shipped for my SS Magnaflow and paid close to 60 or so to have it put on... I'm extremely dissastisfied with the install and now have to have it redone at a shop that knows what they're doing. I think I'm going to do catback piping now though.

hey youre right... that look slike shit.. but next time let the exhasut shop cut the bumper (wher eyou cant see it underneath) so you can bump it flush under the bumper.

the thing eveyrone with cams must make nte, is that TELL THE SHOP YOU DONT CARE IF ITS UNDER THE BUMPER.. they will make it hang low and out to clear the bumper so you dont get black oil/smoke shit stuck on ya bumper... say you dont care and theryll put it up and high and neat. and you gotta make it clear you wont come running back if ya bumper were to melt or anything...

i cant see how people can unhappy with their installs.. all you need to do is hang around the extra 30 minutes and when they go to test fit tell em where to put it...its not hard...

like i said... its your money... you should show them how you want it... not my fault if you didnt get up off the waiting couch and point out that you dont like where it is...

i know you did.. but i guess you didnt try hard enough... or if you did.. then why isnt it how you want it?

you also gotta remember that you can tell them to cut the underside of ya bumper so they can fit it up higher

They're not cutting the underside of my bumper.. but to set it the way I want they won't have to. I never was out of the shop I was right there beside the guy the entire time they were doing the install. I eventually just let them do it they way it is because I was there for so long and just wanted to go home. The idiot didn't know what he was doing and I just wanted him away from my car.

I'll get it redone in a couple of months.. for now more important things. Going to Gulf Shores next month and going to relax from my 60 hour work weeks.
