Car Just Dies, help needed

my car just suddently died on the highway. When I go to start it, it just sputters around 500rpm and then dies. It wont die if I rev it however. Its very sluggish with the engine.

Any clue what it could be? Two people told me it could be the fuel injectors or the fuel pump. I rather have a lead to what it could be before some dealership starts charging me out of the ass for labor.

Maybe your timing belt jumped a couple of teeth, if it was running fine and then just changed to horrible.

i just did a distributor the other day at work. there must be a shortage of the modules becuase the distributor module itself costs us 149.49, however the entire distributor including the module costs us 149.99 WTF?!

hmm back to the thread...if the distributor was dead the car wouldnt run or start at all.

500KCamry is most likely on the right path about the belt jumping and throwing the timing off. vbmenu_register("postmenu_625391", true);

Well, thats what "they" told me. They are doing the the work and if it doesnt work, their ass will be worn for a hat.

Overly mad considering its a $750 job, wtf. The fact as they were supposed to "LOOK" at it, not do shit to it yet.

So mad, so mad.
