Hey guys...

I have a '97 Camry CE 5spd with 67k miles. I want to:

replace the engine with either an SR20DET or 2JZ-GTE motor.

build said motor to ~400hp.

replace the trannie. not sure with what yet.

convert the car to RWD

replace the clutch with a CentreForce Stage II Dual Force.

is this possible?
if so... hwo much would it cost? I would like to do this for less than 15k...

possible?

Anything is possible with the right amount of money. With that said you'd have better luck selling the Camry and buying a 93 - 98 Supra Turbo.

uh.... dam i had something to say but i forgot..... to late i have a 2jz engine in my car man......

i say go for the 2JZ-GTE, stay true to toyota...
i've seen a RB26DETTin a Supra, it was bad ass, but it was a Nissan engine, so i didnt like it. dont get me wrong, i have nothing against Nissan, in fact, i like the Japanese Nissans (skyline, sunny, stagea, etc.). anyway, i appear to be rambling, if you have $15,000, then i guess anything is possible, keep us updated!

i know what your talking about. It doesn't really have a 5.0 in it, its just some dumb kid.
