3rd Generation Intake strap down?

My current thing that holds my short-ram intake, its ripping into the filter, and it's not safe... how can i securely strap this down to something somehow? if i take the current thing out, it will raddle all over the place in there and the air sensor tubes will fall off... and if i leave it on any longer, the filter will be ruined... any ideas?

umm, zip ties, or a bolt through the inside, drilled so you can get at it from the opening where the filter pulls off, or that plumbers stuff with the holes, that tightens around a circle, you could put that on and bolt through it.

Take a metal strip, bend an "L" into the end and tuck the L part under the hose clamp the secures the filter to the intake pipe. Now scre the other end of the metal strap to the body of the car.

Here's a pic of how it all looks. I don't think it's sitting too high, but maybe it's just me.

I did the same thing with mine and no more rattling or movement from the intake. The bracket came with my intake.
