First off, I'd like to welcome another Minnesotan to the forum. And another one with a 3vz in their Camry too

Whenever you have a chance, pick up a Chilton of Haynes Manual at an auto parts store. They have most of the info you will want. The 1992-93 3vz0-fe had 185hp@5200RPM and 195lbs-torque@4400RPM. There is endless info on it. It was originally built as a turck engine for the 80's 4Runner. So it's very torquey

Bore x Stroke: 3.44in X 3.23in
Compression Ratio: 9.6:1
The true displacement of the car is actually 2959 qubic cm. So it's not actually a 3.0L

What else do you want to know? Valve specs? Cam specs?

eh, mike, it goes without saying that the displacments never the advertised... hell, the mustang 5.0 wasn't even 5.0L, it just sounded cool.
My 5S-FE isn't even 2.2L, it's just shy of. Then again, a 4.98L (just a number, don't try and call me on a fact) isn't very cool sounding.

When 3vz's are dynoed, they tend to hit peak torque at 3000RPM. And that's something you can rub in

I'm just reading out of my Chilton. They do tend to be off. According to it our firing order is 1-3-4-2... I guess the other two cylinders don't fire

Exactly.

302 CI = 4942 CC = 4.94 L
if you round up it was only 8 cc away from rounding up to a real 5 liter.
