Question Egr / Knock Sensor

My CEL came on lastnight so I took it to Advanced Auto. Codes were P0400...EGR Flow Malfunction. And code P0325...Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Malfunction. Went ahead and got prices for these parts, but what I really want to know is where are these located and how easy is it to replace them myself? I also heard that I could clean the EGR valve instead of replacing it. How is that done also?
If anyone has any pics that could help me on this that would be great !

seafoam wount clean it really ....

http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t68226.html

that would tell you what you need to know about cleaning /removing it

for the knock sensor clean the egr and change your fuel filter and reset the ecu (pull the EFI fuse) and then drive it around till it trips a cel again then work from there
