Airbag warning light not working

I just bought a fully-optioned '96 Camry V6 with an SRS airbag in the steering wheel only. I've been reading here about airbag warning lights that stay on, but not one that DOESN'T come on.

Where is the light? In the instrument cluster? Where exactly? Sound lame, but otherwise I can't troubleshoot the problem.

Would one of you with the same model please go take a look??? The owners manual doesn't show it .

it should be on your instrument panel at your bottom left corner, and it's red.

maybe the bulb us burnt out?

and it doesn't come on even when your car is in the ON position before you start the car?
If there is something wrong with the airbag unit or computer, the light is supposed to come on and stay on....if it stays off.....that's what you want....

Look in the underhood fusebox, ecu2, if that fuse is blown/missing the light will not come on. If the light doesn't come on it's not working.
