Oil Question

Hi everybody i have a 1mf-ze v6 toyota engin with 185 000 km i would like to know what kind of oil i should use for my engin.

Is the valvoline max life oil good for my car or should i use a other one. tks

Well is this oil better then others regular oil.

And i heard that it is not good to but synthetic oil in a high milage car that wasn't using that kind of oil before.

Oil is oil, if you need to replace them every 4 Thousand Miles, use the regular 10W30 as recommended. No need to use special oil. The key is to replace them regularly.

Keep the money for the scheduled maintenance.

Or put it on the Filters, replace them every time you replace the oil. Or put the money on the Tranny flush.

The Maxlife has extras in it that are supposed to keep deposits from forming and to condition seals, etc. (www.valvoline.com)

If you're pretty regular about your oil changes (every 3-4,000 miles) then it really won't matter too much.
Me, I don't always get the oil changed when I should, so I like knowing I can go an extra 1,000 miles or so if I really have to.
