I have a gen 2 camry i-4, would es250 front/rear calipers be a good brake upgrade?
If so, would there be any mod required to install them?
What parts do i need from the es250 to do the swap?
calipers rotors hubs ebrake parts maybe the thing that distributes the brakes between front and rear (forget its name)
most likeley
the best upgrade is better disc pads and solid rotors.

use the ones from the ES250 on the front. a rear discconv using the ES250 discs is impossible because the rear brake system on the ES250 is a Drum-in-Disc setup. the Regular brakes use rotors, but the rotor has a drum isnide it that the emergency/handbrake uses.
I would go with BRembo Blanks (what i have) up front, and in the rear, go with a good quality disc conversion.,..completel disc conversion.
unless the camry I4 has 2 (inner and outer, outer being smaller) drums on each wheel in the rear, it aint gonna happen without SERIOUS modification.

The most simple upgrade is just to use the rear discs from the V6 gen 2 and use the Celica All-Trac front brakes. And they are not hard to find at all which you would know if you actually tried to look for them or read that link that 88le posted. This is because after a certain year, the normal Celica upgraded to the exact same brakes that the All-Trac has.
And yes, the bolt pattern for the V6 and the 4 cyl are the same.
so your're sayin that the brakes from es250 front gonna work? Are the bolt pattern the same for the camry i-4 and camry v6?
the front rotors will fit. but not with 14' wheels.
let me rephrase, with 14 inch wheels, it would be REALLLLLLY tight. get a bigger wheel than 14". if you already have 15's then you are good, cause that what comes stock on ES250.

YES YOU WILL NEED THE MASTER CYLINDER WHEN YOU SWITCH FROM DRUM TO DISC. Oh man people, some of the stuff I'm reading on here. I would recommend getting the whole rear "spindle" assembly from the rear of the ES250 and bolt it in. Don't even take the assembly appart if you can. You should be able to unbolt it from the arms,Assuming the 4 cylinder doesn't have a 4 lug pattern....does it? Then you're screwed and forget it. unless you want to change the front end too which probably has the same brakes. I don't know for sure.
As for the front brakes, I don't know.
The e brake cable might be the same, but I would take that too while you're at it. And yes you will need the proportioning valve and master cylinder.
YES YOU WILL NEED THE MASTER CYLINDER WHEN YOU SWITCH FROM DRUM TO DISC. .
Why do you say that? Many people have done the swap for rear disks without the master cylinder upgrade... (It may not even be an upgrade - I"m not sure)
You will need the whole rear hub assembly with all brake parts attached along with the ebrake cables.
