Hi, some people said I got Gypped for how much i got my 04 Camry LE. I purchased this car like during mid January 2005 with 15800 mile on it and its a Jersey car with all highway mileage. I paid $14,000 for the car and the car is in excellent condition, no accident or any dents and dings. The specs of the car are everything standard that comes with the LE. So what do you think? did i get ripped off or i got a deal?
It is worth what ever you paid for it. Toyotas are very reliable, get good gas mileage, hold there value well. What are those that are screwing with you driving? Do they even know what they are talking about. It is really easy to say you got screwed when they really don't know what they are talking about.
Thats what i was thinking, cause i got this car at an Dealers Auto Auction, which only dealers are allowed to go in.But my brother's friend is a dealer and he sold it to me at cost of what it was for at the auction. Well im not sure if they are hatin on the fact that i got a Newer car than they drive, but one Drives a 99 Lexus RX300 another Drives a 01 Infiniti I30, and another 1 is not even driving at all and he knows very little about cars and just got his license like last week after a couple of tries, but he's looking for an accord. Another 1 who drives a 2004 Mitsubishi Evo Thinks i got a heck of a deal. May i remind you all of us are around the age of 21-19
people visit ebay and think that is the going price for cars, reality is different..you got a decent price. Its all based on options (color+roof+stereo) and your personal choice. I wouldn't paying extra knowing its been take care of..at that low milage, the engine is just barely being broken in!
sounds like you got a good deal to me. I am in used car sales and we have very few Gen 5 Camry's. We have two right now one is 02 LE with 50k Miles reatailing for 14,590 the other is 03LE with 36k miles and it is retailing for 16590. Sounds like you got a god deal. Looks like you paid close to trade in value for it. That is what a dealer would probably pay for the same car then mark it up a couple of grand to put it on the lot to sell.
