I wanted to open up my corner lights and spray them black to match my car. I was wondering if the procedure for opening the headlights would be the same as this and also do I need to use high heat paint so as the avoid fading? Thanks.

those aren't black, those are plain clear..or am i missing something

Corner light are not the same as headlight. Headlight uses a filler for the closing purpose (serve as sealant) but Corner light most uses brezing. Which mean, no need another filler but just one melted into other one. So, it will be nearly impossible to open up like the headlight using the oven unless you use a saw to hack it out.

I have a gen 3 that already has clear corners so why would i go buy clear corners. I wanted the conrners to be black.

I think I'll just buy a used corner light to practice on. I Wouldn't want to meess up mines since I just bought them brand new after my crash.

I'm curious, either my corner lights aren't working, but they never go on for me, yet they have a light bulb in them? Maybe I just don't notice it?

I thought of that too, I want to paint it black to match my cam, then move the turn light to stay with upper light (i dont know how to call that, i bet u understand). Then maybe I wax the bumper to make it has no level, finally look clean!

This picture I edit with photoshop, I haven't do anything to the corner light yet, just planning. See, the picture I took indoor the color look weird, that's why u can see anything clearer.
