Part of my manual conversion is going to be using Gen 3 3VZ inner axles with my Gen 2 outer axles. The reason was so as to keep my rims and brakes etc (as Gen 2 uses 5x100 pattern). I have realised that my rims are multifit...that is..have 5x100 & 5x114 mounting ability!

The question is...if i got FULL driveshaft...will my front brakes work with them? or do i have to get all of the related brake hardware and modify it to fit?.

The driveshaft (cv axle) is seperate from the hub / steering knuckle. Although the axle goes into the backside of it.

To change the bolt pattern you need a adapter or new hub.

If you get full axles (for a 3VZ) you might have to change the steering knuckle, brakes, etc.. This is if the axle doesn't mate with your existing steering knuckle.

I would choose the easier route and use hybrid axles (3VZ inner w/2VZ outer).
