When can I expect to see the new body for the Camry?

Should be up for redesign for '06 or '07 shouldn't it? I'm interested in what it'll look like. I want to buy my first *new* car in '06 or '07 and Toyota is high on my list.

current Avalon could be an indicator - Avalon designs tend to indicate what the next yota corporate face will be.

It's going to be in '07

The owner of the dealership I work with said he got to see it. He said it was incredible.

Rumors are it's going to look alot more sportier.

Oh and the '06 Solara comes out VERY soon. No major change though.

I think toyota will tone it down a bit, not sure every previous owner camry wants a sporty looking car, especially what camry's demographic is.
I'm sure it'll look great though.

If it'll look similar to this... count me out.

I hope the SE comes back again as a real Mazda6 and Nissan Altima alternative this time around.

^^ LOL!

Expect mid year 2006 (march-april) to see the 2007 camry models...so typically a year from now.

Gen5

I hope they boost the new camry, add bigger rims, better suspension and a more aggresive body kit to knock the shit out of the altima and the accord. Take the carmy to a whole new level. Maybe take some of that sweet technology that's making its current F1 car so competitive.

If they dont do that, at least give some kind of nice optional sporting package combining all of the above elements to give poeple the choice to have a beeemer beater.

Heck maybe i'll just do it for them........

If they make it sporty enough on the outside with a suspension that rivals that of the Accord... I'll be happy. If Camry owners complain that the ride isn't as smooth if they do this... they can buy an Avalon.
