Yesterday I redded out my taillights and let them dry overnight before I put them back on. They are a perfect color match in person, but I dont know how they will look in the picture. It took 3 very lights coats. I just got back from work so I will post pictures tomorrow.

good job. guess u were too excited and had to tell us before u got the pics up.
Nyce job 91dx...just got a couple of questions to ask u b4 i try mine.....u use 3 coats...dats a lot....did u spray close or far(distance) and wondering if your tailights is like the gen 3 ones...sepat=rated by two parts...b/c if i spray outside...does it feel different?
I sprayed from about 12 inches away. I did three coats, spraying lightly and quickly. My taillights are just one lens and I sprayed the outside. I actually sprayed them without taking them off the car. I just put newspaper around the edges. The paint feels just as smooth as the rest.

Looks nyce...as i was saying before..so the key is spray a but far and quickly.......yeah...c what i mean you light only has one lense i got two...so i din;t think it will turn out as nyce as yourz..........how long did u wait between each coat......so did u just spray and dry...did u put any special protector spray on after? or did u just leave it.....
I put Saran Wrap and masking tape over the rest of the taillights and over the clear part for the reverse lights. I waited about 1 hour and 15 minutes between each coat. I didn't put a protector or anything over the transparent paint.

So u didn;t put anything special after to protect it...u only spray 3 coasts and strap the light back on???? Do u think it will look bad if i sprayed mine 94 camry....outside?????
No I didn't put anything special on after the paint. Your number of coats may vary, depending on if your taillights are darker or lighter. If mine looks fine on the outside I don't see why yours wouldn't.
