Smoke or paint green?
I'm going to smoke out my tail lights but I don't know what to do with my center panel. Should I paint it green or should I smoke it out too?

green will look cleaner, but smoking it will stand out more, since it's such a large portion of the car..

To paint it transparent black. Meaning that it would look black, but the reverse and stop lights will still be visible through the paint.
Anyways. I think I'm going to smoke it out, and depending on how it looks I could then paint it green.

i would smoke it, your green is a dark green, so the smoked out center panel would blend in really well.

Smoke, if you paint body color it probably won't be a good match b/c the paint on the rest of the car is 11 years old and the new green would be... well, new
The blacked-out center panel is one thing I liked a lot on gen3 DX's and SE's... too bad all the gen 3.5's were body color. So smoke that bitch out
but you might need brighter bulbs in your lights afterwards... you can still see them, but not all that well...

I thought about doing something like that, but being kind of short of cash and not finding one is a problem.
Anyways, I'm going to smoke it.
Thanks guys.
