soaked passenger side floor

Yesterday, after Import Eurasia I went back to my car (1997 Toyota Camry) and I noticed that the floor behind the passenger-side seat was totally soaked with what seemed to be water. It was very unusual considering it did not rain the day on or before the show and I did not drive through any puddles of water on the way there and back. And I am pretty sure it is not the work of some asshole since every windows was all the way up. Only the floor behind the passenger-side seat was wet. No where else. What could be the problem? Has anybody had any similar problems? If so, please respond back. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

hmm... that snds really strange. A few Qs to help.

1. Did you have passengers during this time. Maybe one of them had a leaking water bottle and didn't know. Snds stupid, but you never know!

2. Does it look like it got wet fromt eh underside or top of the carpet. I'd look for holes in the body under the affected area. Not likely to find anything. Again, you never know!

3. Did you wash the car? Check the condition of your weather stripping around the door. Maybe water seeped in and managed to get into the cabin. This happens alot in the trunk, but I've never heard of it going into the back seats. Once again, you never know!

4. Do you seem to have a feeling that time disappeared and can't account for a "lost" some would call "carzy, nuts, wacko" feeling? See a doctor or it was the work aliens :P

Do you smell coolant or is yours low? If so you might have a leaky heater core or hose.

Make sure your A/C hose is put back in place so it can let the water flow outside.....
