3rd Generation Need help with my stereo...

I think I have problem with my stereo, maybe the the wiring problem. Sometime when I turn left hard, the passenger speaker seems to have bad sound (sometime we can hear, sometime not). After driving a bit and turn hard right, all the sound again begin to work fine. Maybe something not fix?

One more question? what is the device found under passenger seat? Look like amplifier?

Thanks

Take the door panels off both doors and check the wiring there. Pull the wires gently to the right (passenger side of the car). This will duplicate what is happening to the wires in a left turn. If you don't see any problem with the wires at the speakers, you will have to access the radio in the dash by removing the u-shaped surround piece around the radio in the dash. This can be easily done with a small slotted screwdriver or a pick, placed at the bottom toward each of the sides of this u-shaped piece, and applying outward pressure. Once removed, see if you can reach behind the unit and again gently pull the wires to the passenger side of the car to see if the problem occurs there.

You are correct on the amplifier being under the passenger seat.

Good luck with the problem.
