Edeading the trunk (at least starting) and this rattles a shitaload any ideas?

huh....in the trunk....maybe its a "fresh air" vent? I say cover it with plastic for a day and see what it does, if you don't notice anything screw it, cover it up

I had the SAME EXACT thread! lol It turns out its a vent that leads to the outside so that when you slam your doors, the pressure in the cabin dosn't hurt your ears. It lets the pressure equalize with the outside when all the windows and doors are shut.

Mine must be clogged then. Whenever I close my moon roof I feel the pressure increase in my ears

block off hte vetns and seal the doors.. slam a door = front windsreen pops off.... or rear one if the seal on teh rear is weaker

its weird cause there are plenty of other openings in the trunk
