Try checking out www.crutchfield.com. They have a ton of info on installing amps, head units, subs and its very detailed. They have FAQ's on everything as well, it's a great site if you're a newbie on installing stereo equipment. They even make recommendations on what wires to use, etc...

hey dustin, i have the same deck in my camry, with a 1000watt mono amp connected to 2x 12'' kaption audio subs. You said you have trouble connecting the amp and stuff to the deck. If you don't know there are a couple places in town that know alot about that deck. Goto Mr. Stereo on Weber St. or Boom'in Car Audio on King St.

those AV cables... are RCA's. you're gonna run two(?) RCA's to the amp, and a power cable runnning to your battery, and then your wires going from the speakers to the amp, you know...

agh i think thats right, i cant think straight (im sick)

i think i got it right, someone confirm???

ya see, i didnt choose to install my own speaker... in my CAR... i watched a friend of a friend do it (he used to do it for a livin, thats why i let him do it ) but i coulda figured it out.

here's a link that Silver Streak was referring to:

your best bet is to find a friend that has some experience with installs and have him help you through it. it's kinda difficult to learn from a book... you just need to get your hands dirty.

Well theres is a bit more.....

Also remember your ground wires (from the amp to bare metal) and the remote wires.....I say....save yourself the threat of frying your equipment or catching your car on fire and have someone experienced help you on the install. Good luck!
