Hey how much horsepower do you guys have on your camrys? Because I have never seen a turbocharged Gen 3 or a really fast one. I want to make mine really fast and want to know what type of stuff (intakes header etc.) you need to have a fast ass camry!!!! Thanx for tha help=)

first you need a lot of money, and a lot of time. cuz a lot of it is custom.

a lot.

i dunno, just do the simple stuff is all that I could tell ya... for instance, new exhaust, and piping, um, get new high performance tires, try to do a search on here and make your own cold air intake. im sure someone like Phi will help ya out and put you in the right direction.

uh, maybe for ideas check www.tt-cc.com and you can do a search maybe for manual transmission swap. i dunno.

your wallet is the limit here bud..........if you throw a 3s-gte in dat bitch and rebuild the engine with bored out cylinders high performance pistons and rods and everytang, lil this and dat for you exhaust system from the turbos downpipe to your tip, stand alone ecu, better throttle body, supra fuel pump, upgrade those cam parts baby, heavily upgraded brake and suspension, nicely upgraded 5 speed tranny, and maybe some fuel additives like water injection and nitrous injection.......your camry might do some damage

but like the guy said b4.....a lot of that will be custom work cant just find all this stuff online ready at nopi or some shit

hmm u can ask wraith on that .. he's got a fast camry... also camryRR has done a lot of engine work... i am however doin my own research on a specific mod that im trying to do ... hope that helps you out.. another way to check is if you have a 4 cylinder 5sfe like most of us camry guys do .. u can check out MR2 boards and Celica boards i believe some ppl there have that engine pumpin serious HP!! good luck in your search...

Hows 281.4hp and 238.1 tq on 13psi, sound ???

I'm hoping for a little over 450hp at the wheels without the NOS. With the Nos I'm hoping close to 550 at the wheels and 11 or 12second timeslips... More to come...

I ahve to get him started, I spent liek 20-30 minutes looking at the pictures of his car... its so NICE....
how much have you spent altogether is upgrades?
Including how much you plan on spending soon for the nos and so on..?

too much ... Even I think I spent too much on it... I could have bought a used MKIV Supra Turbo... But, then again very thing is expensive when you modify a car that wasnt meant to go fast. But, as for this next set of mods I should spend $5,000 in just parts... Luckily, I'm being sponsored by E.L. Prototypes for the labor...

Well im working on a really really fast camry does that count and its a gen 3 3vz-fe!!! Turbo kit in the making....who knows though we will see how it goes keep yall posted...ha ha get it psoted...i know tons of people have probably said that but I dont give a sheot!!!!

dude that will be fun as hell...you know im serious right!!!! were u at again? I can take a vaca and get a video camera and we can run em till the sun drops and then post the vid. up on all the boards!!!!! It would be tight. We are looking at some good options wanna run 15psi on the track at least 12psi and like 8 on the street. Jon and sean are with me on this but Im gonna be the first because of funds, i hope!!!

Oh it will be a glorious day and I just found a place to make the exhaust manifold now so its up to finalizing all the parts getting right pricing and figuring a cuple more probs. and buying the parts. Im thinking if I play my cards right the end of this year hopefully...u got aim I need to discuss some things with ya man...u know a good bit about this stuff not to mention I need ur intercooler size? DUDE THE WRAITH SHIT IS DOPE LOOK AT HIS TIMES on 1/4 data base on sc3 he has got a nice ride... WRAITH right on!! i'm a 16yr old in mesa, az and this might sound corney as shit but i swear to god your my insparation... yeah i got a gen 3 4banger 5sfe and it is slow, no i will not ever have the money to do the dope ass swap as wraith did... but i'm still gonna "try" to follow in his foot steps... yes so what if most of or rides are slow at least some one knows how to make one fast and thats all that matters .. sure we have to admit to others that they will wax our ass.. with the exception of the few of you guys with mad money and time... but hope fully people wont be able to talk trash bout my grocery getter cause i'll be able to haul balls and wax there ass'es ........ ok so most of this my never come true but still if i could see the wraith when the light goes green with my binoculars i would still be happy!!!....Wraith do you have to do constint matinence after the swap?
