Need Help ASAP!
Well, since I've gotten my Camry I've had alot of problems with it but for some reason I still love Gen 3 Cams. But now I'm thinking its might be better to part this one out, get another car and sometime down the line find another Camry to use for my plans for this car.
It's a 1993 Camry LE 5sfe. Automatic Trans.
Right now it is not running and I would liek to get it running to see if its worth keeping.
Today I went out to clean up the engine bay a little and put on my new starter, I was checking my plugs and the one all the way to the left by the engine oil cap. I pulled out the wire and what I am pretty sure is water started coming out, it may have been coolant but it looked pretty see through but dirty. Every other one was dry except for this one. Im not sure what causes this but when I bought the car he gave me some receipts of things he had put on, a new headgasket, a new radiator, new muffler and catback. But since I've had the car I've seemed to have a problem with coolant, a freeze plug rotted out and the plug on the top of the coolant reservouir. Both have been replaced but still somes my overflow tank spills, but the car doesnt overheat at all (when it was running). Any Ideas?
I still have the hood to put on, have to get my exhaust fixed because previous owner did not take good car of it after he got the new catback, has leaks n dents. I have a shattered sunroof to replace, a new starter, needs a full tune up very badly, new back tires, trunk lid has rust holes from where spoiler was. Thats just things off the top of my head, there could be more wrong as its been sitting all winter long. Also I know the suspension is pretty worn but I have lowering springs ready to be put on just no struts because of all this happening.
Does it sound like I should keep it or try and find another? When it was running though it ran pretty good for needing a tuneup and not being taken care of well. I usually could get it up to 110-125 pretty quickly. (Not saying that makes it a strong car, just saying it drove well)
