Does anyone have any experience with the Venom 400 modules that are suppose to alter the way the computer works? Here's a couple of links:

Venom products are big scams.

Invest your money at something else is way more useful than buying that.

I bet none of those people have ever used the Venom400. I've used it and liked it a lot, but it's not worth $300.

All the Venom 400 does is trick the ECU into thinking that the TPS (throttle position sensor) is open more then it really is. It does absolutely nothing when your at WOT (wide open throttle).

For $400 i'll just step down on the gas pedal a little more.

just tighten ur throttle cable using the 2 nuts near the throttle body where the cord comes in. and that is free and works just as well if u do it right.

Define "if u do it right"

Like I said, none of you have used it! Sure it "steps" on the gas pedal, but it does it faster than you can do it manually...trust me on this one. Plus the acceleration going from partial to instant full throttle snaps your neck back...it feels like you're launching a 5 speed from a stand still. When you do this manually, no matter how fast you do it, the computer gradually recognizes your pedal moving lower and lower. I've also done the throttle cable adjustment...it's just not the same at all.

The module is also connected to the MAF sensor. It modifies to signal to tell the ECU that the air coming in is a little colder so that your ECU advances the timing.

I didn't really like it when I'd be cruising along in 2nd and partially pressed the gas down a bit too much and the Venom would kick in...then there'd be an abrupt downshift to 1st with the revs rising high and a little torque steer.

But like I said...it's not worth $200-300.
