error codes

Hey what's up all?? today i went to Autozone to get my engine scanned since my "check engine" light came on :o the guy scanned my car and came up with the error code 420 i know that there is a website with all the codes listed and what they mean. I was wondering if anybody here knows the website. Thanx in advance.

I also think I came across a list of error codes on somebodys personal page. I think it was Glok's Try asking him.

hey whats up Phi?? thanx for ur help Glok's (at least i think it was his website) website listed them and i found out that it is a "Catalyst System Efficiency below threshold" :-? but what does that exactly mean, does anybody know? it might a dumb question but i have no clue. anyways thanx for ur help.

Direct interpretation of the error code would lead my to look at the emission components of the system (ie. air filter, cat, muffler)

What's the history on your car in terms of maintance? What you may want to do is have the car's emmissions tested to see what type of gases are present in the exhaust fumes. This may give you a better idea of what component his failing. Hope that helps. Let us know how things turn out.
