Piaa

I'm thinking of putting in a pair of low/high beam Xtreme White Plus PIAA bulbs in my 2002 Camry LE, but I'm slightly scepticle. Has anyone done this? I'm more worried about frying my electrical system or screwing up my headlights and having to replace it all because of the bulbs... anyone have any opinions?

go with the sylvania silverstars and put the extra $$$ in ur pocket. but whatever you decide make sure not to touch the glass on the bulbs(or wipe it off with some rubbing alcohol if you do). getting oil from ur hands on the glass will shorten bulb life.

piaa not worth it...overboost.com did a test and light output decreased 35-40% below the OEM bulbs they tested (even though the color was brighter...it wasn't actually giving more light, just color)...

go w/silverstars, xtravision, or (what i have that has same output as silverstar but more color) Redline bulbs from BestBuy...

I have. I have PIAA Superwhites 9005 high beams in my car. Pretty nice.

I don't know, but I also have PIAAs for my low beams as well. It's way brighter than my OEM bulbs. It's either that or I accidently adjusted my housing to luminate further, but I hardly doubt it.

Basically, what I want is for the light to look as white as possible. I'm tired of the same old yellow halogen. Which one looks whiter? The Sylvania SilverStar or the PIAA Xtreme White Plus?

i have PIAA super plasma GTx bulbs for my low beam. just puts off a more white look compared to the stock bulbs.. i agree.. they are expensive and its better off saving up some money to install HID.
