go with magnaflow universal, if you want a personal recommendation, get the one that WhiteRabbit has, its about as close to stock-looking as you can get, plus shaving off about 9 pounds

Bosal is damn near OEM..I've seen them and you can barely tell is isn't OEM. Personally I used 2 3.5" slash cut ractive fireball mufflers on mine (dual setup) and man...the 3vz sounds so good with it...heads will turn when you start your car, even the single one is a good move, and not too much $ either

yea, id would personally have to recomend magnaflow, they have always had a rep for smooth, deep tones and clean looks. See sig for my muffler.
i have a bosal straight thru w/a single, round, 4in outlet...nice deep tone from my 1MZ-FE and defineately does NOT sound nor look OEM...*see cardomain link in sig. (page 3)

Thanks for the reply guys. I have a question about fitment. The OEM muffler seems to have the inlet on the rear side of the muffler, while the magnaflow's inlet is on it's rear. Will there be fitment problems? Does the bosal guarentee a non-welded fitment with the backpipe?
sanengo...unless u KNOW the muffler inlet comes from the side, there will be welding b/c my inlet comes str8 from the back....it cost'd me $200 for the muffler and install (w/custom welding) at Meineke.

Well since many camry owners have installed purchased custom mufflers, it is probably doable on my camry. I was worried that the new muffler won't be short enough to fit under the bumper since the OEM muffler inlet is on the side.
Will a muffler shop charge more if they have to do more custom work to make a muffler fit? Does anyone have pics of a magnaflow or other rear inlet custom muffler attached? Hopefully its a 3VZ-FE, if it makes a difference..
EDIT: found it on whiterabbit's site
How do the magnaflows sound on the camry? Some of the demo sounds on the magnaflow website really sound like fart cannons . But some others sound much better.. I'm considering the 14815 model.
put up some sound clips plz, id love to hear wut the 3vz can offer, i had an aeroturbine on mine but my entire exhaust system minus the y pipe was stolen b4 it was ever used
