UNDERDRIVE PULLEY for V6 1MZ

Has anyone ever installed the cat pep unerdive pulley on their 1mz engine? How is it? Do you recomend it? here is the pulley I'm talking about http://www.catpep.com/catproducts/im...eparts/pdk.asp

125 front wheel horsepower with major retard issues between 4500-5200RPM -
OD switched off, even when not in 3rd results in major power loss/rpm drop.

don't think so


with the reasoning being because a badly designed underdrive pulley would unbalance the engine, so unless you're buying from a reputable company that's put money into r&d like unorthodox, you run a risk using it

why don't you try it first and then give us a 10,000mile update?

Hmm, I didn't know those existed. Maybe this summer I'll get one. The price looks pretty good, but I guess it's still steel so that might explian it. It does have a damper built in so I wouldn't have any problems putting it on my engine.

Not something i would trust on my motor. Harmonics are a tricky thing and messing with it can cause premature engine wear or failure. I can see someone adding a ATI Harmonic Damper but they dont make one for our cars
