CEL 99 V6, Codes P0446 & P1135 - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

Hi guys and gals. The CEL has been on in my girlfriend's 99 Camry for a little while now, but we haven't really had time to check it out and it was running fine, but now it's time for inspection so we need to figure this out. We had it scanned and got codes P0446 and P1135, which they said were "Evap Code" and "A/F Sensor". Any ideas on what is most likely? Like I said, its running fine, except maybe once a week while stopped and in gear the idle will dip a little lower than usual and it will be a tad rough, but nothing earth shattering.

Any suggestions? If possible I'd like to save some cash and get the part and install it myself, which may or may not be possible from the looks of this engine bay.

1999 Camry LE V6, Automatic, 97k miles.

Oh and also after searching a bit it looks like this may be a VSV issue covered under an extended warranty of some kind?

I really hate to be annoying like this but I know some of you have dealt with this, and I'd like to avoid throwing parts at it.

well the 1135 that code is the o2 sensor thats right in front on the headers .... at that age that is more or less gone and should be replaced ..... and the other sounds like it might just be the gas cap ........ try replacing the o2 sensor and rest the codes .... see if it trips the cel again
