Gen5 short shifter //// sway bar install

WHY DONT THEY HAVE A SHORT SHIFTER FOR GEN 5 - 5.5 CAMRY'S????? i want one real bad but TRD nor anyone else is making them right now. whats the deal with that. also they dont make a supercharger for the 2.4 liter engine that comes with the manual camry SE. this is bull. TRD needs to start recognizing the gen 5 camry.

if anyone knows where such parts would be available, please let me know.

However TRD does make a rear sway bar for the gen 5 camry, and unless im wrong, the SE camry does not come with a sway bar. since its only 184 bucks, i am considering it as a purchase, but how would you go about installing it? im not sure even where it would mount to.

camry's come with a sway bar, there would be hella body roll if it didn't

rear sway bars are pretty easy to install, bolts onto both ends, bushings in the middle, just look under your car at your stock one.

the engine code is 2AZ, same as the scion TC, so anything available for that is available for the camry

shadow... welcome to our world.
anything for camrys is usually custom made or rare and limited.

of course it COMES with a sway bar... the purpose of an aftermarket sway bar is to make suspension stiffer and more responsive.

for the cost of teh trd blower, if you have a small amount of mechanical know how (you know ppl or you can unscrew bolts and remember where they go after) you can turbo it yourself

the MAJOR DIFFERENCE that most ppl DO NOT HAVE is the following though:

the ability to search this forums for information on how to turbo your car.

all you had to do was put a single ability point into search when you created your user account and presto! free information whenever you want it!
