window won't stay up

I have an 03 camry xle. The driver side ( Motor) regulator became loose and the window got off track. I tightened the bolts on the regulator and now the window is on track, but the travel height needs to be adjusted because it automatically reverses when I roll it to the top. How do I adjust the height... or is something else wrong.

How many miles do you have??? If you have under 36,000 miles, take your car back to a dealer and have it fixed under warranty.

I believe that 03 XLE camrys have auto-up as well as auto-down functions on the driver's window-(one touch raises or lowers the windows all the way) The auto-up function has a sensor that will reverse it if it senses something in the window's path.... so that a child's arm won't get caught and stuck. It might be the sensor needs to be reset or something... maybe because the window got off track. Hope this helps.

40000, and you're right about the auto function. I don't think there is a sensor outside of the regulator though. However, thanks for the advice.
