I just did my white LED gauges (replaced the 4 194's) but I'm looking to replace the rest as well. I really like how the whole things looks though overall.
My question is, are the other bulbs in fact #74's?
The FAQ only lists a toyota direct p/n so I don't know if this is actually a 74 bulb or not?
Thanks.
I'll post some pics tomorrow when I get my new headunit in too.
by the way, the dimmer's down pretty far because of the pesky bulb in the corner (that lights up 140) that makes it look greenish.
it's not as dim as it looks in the picture though.
Edit: I also searched about climate controls but was met with being told that they use a film on the control itself. I think I have an idea for how to bypass this though. Gotta look into it more though and figure out the bulb types.
194 white LED's from superbrightleds.com
they're the wide-angles with 5 actual LED's (4... 1 for each corner and 1 in the center pointing out)
I'm ordering 8 74's now, I don't remember how many smaller bulbs there were (I recall quite a few) plus I plan to do the rest of my interior.
I have an idea for the clock/radio too.
However, my clock is essentially garbage (works every 6 months for like 5 seconds then cuts out) so I'll go to the junkyard and grab a new one and play with it.
they should get a walkthrough on how to do this, b/c the puke-green look of my oem gauges pisses me off
btw. nice job crawlingeye, i like the looks, real european

Thanks, terry. I was looking through your thread before. The only problem I had was half of the people were talking about gen3 and half were talking about gen4's. I couldn't quite figure out which bulb was for which except for the 194's.
