Here's a pic from a couple weeks back, but it's actually clearing up now
Now my question concerning H3 and H4's is to do with the last picture. As you see, the plug that has the wires clipped goes to the H4 bulb (If I remember correctly, not that it matters)..
The same thing has been done to all the other plugs and this has me a little concerned (total of 3 of them)
Basically, I just need to know if I'll be safe just to splice the 96 Camry wires (that go to these exact points) directly, or will I need to buy a new plug with these wires and do a little wiring for myself. I know there are few people on here that have these, but whoever does have them, I need to know how they will plug up to the Camry (which I'm guessing its straight forward). It's kind of a newbie question, but it helps me visualize the problem, especially when my Camry is in the US and I'm out in J-Land.
Thanks in advance
Richie, I can't see the picture but I'm going to take a crazy guess and say that so long as the wattage is the same, you'll be fine with splicing the wires.
thanks!
I'm just not sure if there are more or less wires between the 95-96's and the 92-94's. Maybe it's nothing to worry about, but I don't want to get to the point of installing them and get stumped on a problem with wiring. But by what Warlock told me, it almost sounded like the Scepter uses different bulbs versus the US Camry's, so I'm also guessing that the wattage and stuff are different. I could be wrong though...
you can use you old wires and splice in to them but you will come across the same problem i'm haveing.cant tern on the highs and lows at different time. and you are going to have to wire up a switch for the H3 foggs
did you pull them your self or did thay have them in a wherehouse? like i said if you can find the wireing that goes from the fusebox to the lights it will make it so much eazyer on you.
The wires were already cut I got them as is
I'm hoping I can just splice wires because I'm almost sure I wont be needing the foglights. I guess I'll have to buy a switch now...
What year 'Camry'do you have? I have a 96, so I'll need to change the grill. I'm going to assume once again, that the 92-94 Camry grills are a direct application to the 95-96's???
H4's have dual filaments, low and high's are combined in one. So you can splice the signals from your 9006 and 9005 plugs. Here's quick diagram on how to do it...I was gonna open up MS Visio but then I thought this would be more fun.
