Hi all. I just bought a 1995 Camry LE with the 5S-FE with 98k miles on it from a dealership. Car works perfectly fine as it should but as i was looking over the engine today, I had trouble locating the IAT. We have 2 more Toyotas in the family, one with a 3S-FE and a 7A-FE and on both, the IAT is easily found on the housing of the air filter element. However, in the Camry, i couldn't find it there. I saw that on the back of the housing, there is a hole but nothing that is plugged in. Is that where the IAT goes or is the hole just plain supoosed to be there? So far, i put in around 60 miles on the car without any problems but I don't know if I should keep driving or not...Either way, I look forward to a resonse from someone who is willing to help a guy out. I'm 17 and this is my first car

The hole is for the IAT.

When I got my Camry, the sensor was under the airbox. I don't know why. After I found it I sruck it in the hole.
