squeaking sound?

i have a 95 camry le... recently i hear squeaking sounds from the car when i am driving around 25mph or under.. when i go over that limit the sound goes away..

i dont know what is causing that sound.. the axle, or brakes or something else..
i dont think its the brakes or the accelerater...

when i slow down i hear the squeaking sound and when i give the car just a little gas i hear that sound again.. what could be causing that?

do i need to lubricate something?

Try reving the engine slightly in Park or neutral. See if the noise is there without the car being in motion. This will tell you if it is engine (belt or internal engine noise) or drive axle/brake related. If it happens while the engine is reved and the car is not moving, have some one rev it slightly for you while you listen to pinpoint where the noise is coming from. A piece of rubber hose held to your ear and moved around to the various parts of the engine makes a good stethoscope.

A wild guess would be the brake pad wear indicators are beginning to contact the brake rotor, signifying it's time for the brake pads to be replaced. That's just a wild guess, as we need more information from you to offer a more intelligent diagnosis.

Then I'm sticking with the pad wear indicators contacting the rotors. They will make a high pitched squeal, even when you are not applying the brakes. Remove the wheels and check the pads for wear or take it in and have someone do this for you. If it is worn brake pads, and they have been making this noise for some time you might be near metal to metal contact by now. Have this looked at soon.

Your brake rotors are warped. 100% on that. I'm having the same thing right now on my car. The rotors are warping so every rotation it is contacting at a bad angle (the noise). You'll need to replace your rotors. Best thing to do is replace all 4 at once (if you have a V6). Otherwise they will be unevenly warn.

I'd also suggest gettinhg new brake pads at the same time. You'll get the best results that way
