Ive done the corner flasher wiring as stated in the camry faq, but always wanted my bumper lights to come on and stay on with the parking lights. Finally got it done thanks to some help from TheMajesticking.
Now the bumper lights come on and stay on with the parking lamps. When the turn signals are turned on, only the parking lamps flash.
Nothing in the front flashes when the parking lamps are not on when the turn signals are turned on (only because i have LEDs in the parking lamps, theyll flash with regular 194s), but the rear flashes regardless.
The rear still flashes alternatively (i wired the rear the same as the front when i did the corner flashers via the Camry FAQ)
My turn signals also hyper flash now (front and rear), meaning they flash 2X faster (wasnt planning on it but its because i have LEDs in the parking lights). So i guess i blindly nailed two birds with one stone .
Here are some pictures of what they look like:
Ill get a wiring diagram up of how to do it for those interested

hmmmmmmmmm, nm, the signals hyperflash regardless what type of bulb, led or 194 filament, darn! thought i could switch to a 194 if i didnt want it to hyper flash anymore. guess cause the 194 is a way smaller bulb.
but by switching to the 194 you dont have to have the parking lights on for them to flash when turn signal is on.
i also have LEDs up front and i hyperflash but i think it looks cool since the LEDs are instantaneous off/on plus on the highway when i switch lanes quicker, i get like two signal flashes as opposed to one. i'm planning on getting LEDs in the rear turns aswell b/c since they're LED bulbs, they're not suitable for stop/tail b/c too dim overall, but as signals they're fine...
i personally don't think its "rice" b/c then adding clear corners to a car is "rice"...jeez nowadays everything is rice...
i think it'll be rice if u put LED bulbs as stop/tail lights though b/c those don't serve any purpose like the LED signals that demand attention with they're crisp on/off...
well, i got off on a tanget and went longer than i had thought so i'm done, i just hate when immediately classify everything as "rice", and i don't wanna get in a huge discussion on it here...

whocares, no one said it was rice.
the fact is though, that the hyperflash isn't intentionally done by LED's, it's just what happens when your car thinks the bulb is dead.
LED's inherently have a lower amp load (IIRC) which makes the car read it as a dead/dying bulb and makes it hyperflash to draw attention to it.
It's more boro than rice... making your car look like it has a dying bulb.
happy you've made it! I did something to my bumper too, I filled it black now. Then I place turning light with parking light. I made the housing myself. I post picture when I have.

edit: and i'm talking about the gen 3's w/4 pc. bumper lights not gen 3.5 w/only bumper signals(and maybe 88LE will see this thread) i've heard that there isn't a way to make them flash in unison and also have them both on w/parking on? (that would effectively happen if u put + with + and - with - and didn't cap the one -) could u put a slightly bigger fuse on to accomidate for the increased current draw? i would go try that but it's dark now...
