I ordered an Alpine in dash flipout the other day with a Blaupunkt DVD player for my glovebox. Setup set me back around $700. When I got the unit in, I found out the Alpine was a "dead head". You have to have an amp for your highs and mids to have any sound! Well I sent it back today and when my money clears back from Crutchfield I'm going to get one of these two mods.
ViS cf hood (oem style)
Ground Control coilovers
Which one would you get?
BTW, I'm already dropped on Tein S.Techs but I want more drop.
i woudl say get the GCs but after reading the 2 above post, i guess not ( i dont know shit about them) altho i think that it might look a bit off with the CF hood and your stock (ish) looking car. altho i would go with the rims...i could make a better decisoin if cardomain was up....go with the sound
I've never heard of this happening? Where have you heard this?
I was looking into them last summer and my local performance shop said they didnt want the responsibility of doing it cause some kid had his spring come off the perch. It made the vehicle lose control and go off the road apparently. That was all I needed to hear, I went with Teins and Tokicos.

^^^Good Idea but good luck....There was another guy on the board that was doing the V6 swap and ran into mega problems tring to get it to work, he was out of a car for quite some time. But if you can do it, go for it, that would be the shizle.
