Hi i would like to know if somebody could help with this problem.
When i start my 94 v6 camry it the exhaust smoke alot. After a couple of minute , lets say until the engin is warmer it doesnt smoke anymore. help me!
If it is only doing it when you first start the car and quits after reaching normal operating temp you should be ok. If it continues to smoke the entire time the car runs then you may have a problem. It is not really smoke it is just steam. the only bi-product of a combustion engine in a perfect world is water. Water gets hot turns to steam. Now if the "smoke" is blue you may be having problems with valve stem seals, rings or a couple of other problems. Blue smoke indicates oil burning. It also seems to linger a little bit longer than steam does. Hope this helps.

With leaking valve stem seals you will typically see a puff of blueish smoke on start up after the car has been sitting for a while. I have seen it get so bad that it gets to the point where it will smoke constantly. What you need to do is make sure your oil level is where it is supposed to be and keep an eye on it to make sure it doesnt drop.
One other question I would have is does it seem to "smoke" more in cold weather than it does in warm weather. If so this is a perfect indication that it is jsut steam that all vehicles will produce as a by-product of compustion engines. Because it is steam it is more noticeable in colder weather. Hope this helps. If it is actually valve stem seals you are in for a pretty major repair. It is basically replacing the head gaskets and then going through the heads to replace all the stem seals and regrind the valves. It can get farily expensive sometimes. I have seem some threads on here about a product called oilRX or something like that. Read some of the testimonials and the stuff seems to work. May be worth it give it a try before major engine work.

it isnt always blueish white, my 92 3vz smoked in the morning after it had been sitting, sometime it would just be a short puff, sometimes it would smoke for a few seconds, either way i had the heads rebuilt and no more problem, i still say it sounds like your valve stem seals are gone

The smoke is definitely your valve guides gone bad, my 89 gen2 has exactly the same problem though its not that big of a deal and rebuilding the head costs too much money to be worth it. Just like the others have said keep an eye on the oil level, mine burns about 1 quart every 2-2.5K.
lol, im not the one screaming headgasket every time someone comes in with a problem, yeah it very well could be steam but look at the year of his vehicle, i just think its more likely his valve seals are leaing a little oil overnight, its nothing to freak out about
