Hi guys,
I just replace anti squeal spring and its still squeaking like crap!!!!
Most of the time the squeaking happen when the car is in motion....once i apply a little brake pressure on it...the noise is gone.

my Gen3 did that too...
one day it started squealing when the car was moving, but when i applied pressure it stopped.
its because the brake pad had a metal bracket or something, and since the pad had worn down to that point, the metal bracket was scratching against the rotor, thus causing the squealing noise
I would check for warpping in your rotors. It's a pretty common thing when brakes get older. It causes abnomral contact every rotation. That's what your sweaking noise is.
my 93 3vz-fe sqeals like a mother...always has since after its first brake change. they squeel while im driving and like crazy when i brake unless i brake hard...ive tried everything to get rid of it. I figure its because we always get semi-metallic pads, i read and heard from the dealer the spec calls for ceramic pads, thats what they came with hence the no squeaking in the begining, i guess ill have to spend a bit more money now...my front brakes are gone so ill be chaning them as soon as i get back home in ealry may. Supposedly ther were also certain metal pads that were used with the original brake system...i lost all mine i guess....i realized it when we got our Supras and took them off, they had a very similar metal pad so that may be another contribution to the noise disturbance....and its one hell of one in my case
I had similiar problems on my 94 5SFE and my 98 5SFE recently. On both, I wound up throwing away the anti squeal shims and using Permatex Spray Disk Brake Quiet on the backs of all the pads. Like you, I tried using high temperature silicone brake grease on the backs of the pads, along with greasing both sets of the Toyota anti squeal shims on the back sides, as the Toyota manual suggests . Nothing worked. I finally took everything apart again and cleaned the grease off the backs of the pads, discarded the shims, and sprayed the disk brake quiet on the backs of the pads. 5 minutes to set up and then I reassembled everything. This solved my noise of both my Camrys. The noise is actually caused by the pads vibrating within the calipers while the car is in motion. The disk brake quiet is a tacky substance making the pads stick to the caliper on one side and the caliper piston on the other side. Since they stick there, you no longer get the vibration and hence the noise is gone. If you can't get Permatex in Austrailia, I'm sure any brand of disk brake quiet will work just the same.
my front brakes was doing this too. I had already cheak if the pad was needing replacement...nope..they were fine So i just drove this. That is until it started to bug me. So When i went to Napa Auto parts for an engine mount, saw a bottle of Techinician Grade CRC Desqueek and decided..what the heck, i'll try it.
So after the engine work i took the wheels off, put the car in neutral and sprayed over the disk, turning it to get to all the surfaces, front and back on both wheels. Drove it for a bit to get the stuff into the surface and it's been quiet since.
The stuff that came out of the bottle was silver grey metallic...almost like paint. maybe try it maybe not. The bottle was like 15 bucks.
