Bosch Wiper Blade Install

Hey guys, I finally picked up some nice wiper blades, Bosch micro edge excel blades. I feel stupid for asking but how the hell do you install them? I cant make sense of the directions; it came with a bracket and two little screws that need to be screwed on somehow but I cant figure it out. Any help/ clearer instructions for installing on my generation three would be great! Thanks fellas.

okay, if you're asking what i think you're asking.....nevermind the extra parts.

Line up the new wipers with the old and how ever the old ones came off the new ones go on exactly the same.

if you are still confused

here's a video how straight from the oil monkey's mouth:

lol, no, i don't think so. there are two common wiper arms, one uncommon, and the others--i have no clue.

The first common and I'll go ahead and make the assumption, is where the end of the arm is a hook ( for our camrys)

The second is a sort of pin type.

The third is one where nothing is at the end except two holes when the wiper blade is taken off. ( this would be what the bracket you are refering to would be for.)

So basically don't throw anything away, try just putting it in....like the video... and if it works throw that thing away.

If I'm wrong, correct me.

Watch the video...the second half of it is the how-to... shows you exactly how to do it for all the applications.

installing and removing all wipers is a PITA but once you figure it out it seems so logical

infox, there should be a bit of plastic that is holding the blade to the pin. either it will pry up with a little force from your trusty screwdriver or it will break and seperate...either way after you see whats holding it on to the pin come up off the pin pull the blade upwards and off the pin. dont worry if you break it there should be another holder included with the wiper blade.

Just got a new set for my 94 XLE. Excellent blades. 90 second installation.

Hopefully they will correct the wind-lift problem I had with the old blade assemblies

i went to get new wipers today i couldnt find PIAA blades so i bought Bosch blades and i had a problem at first trying to install it. i would slide the blade in but i didnt hear any snap then i realized u have to pop the adapter(not the one in the seperate package with screws) off the one alrdy on the blade and just flip it around then just slide it in the arm hope that helps
