signs of tranny problems

What are some signs of your auto tranny going bad. like the first signs.

I think i'm having some tranny issues. Like when acc. slowly/medium speeds when i let off the pedal i feel the car kinda jolt. like a mis-shift or something. Also happens when i'm trying to acc from a stop as well. This doesn't happen all the time. but once in a while.

my tranny is at 88,8xxmiles right now. never had a flush to my knowledge. the fluid is a little overfilled. the fluid isn't brown or anything. Its more of a light red/brown. I mean you can still see red but not the bright red tranny fluid that your used to seeing. seems a little dirty. It doesn't smell burnt or like tranny fluid. almost like a oderless type smell.

Is it too late to do a tranny flush. from what i understand you should flush your tranny 30k miles but ifs its burnt. the best way to do it is to let time take its course because if you flush a burnt fluid out you can flush out seals and what not.

Should i just get a complete flush with syn tranny fluid, if so how much fluid do i need. i can get my hands on a flushing machine. after the flush should i drop the pan and clean it and put a new filter on it as well ?
