Honestly, the only difference in power you would notice from installing a new intake would be throttle response. There would be a different sound to your engine, also.
It isn't worth it though, I'd just buy a K&N filter and install that into the stock air-box.

F a K&N in the stock intake box. Spend the same if not a little less and get a short ram. The cheap cone filter they have in the kit flows a lot better than the stock filter, adds looks, and adds sound to your engine bay.
If you want to keep the car sounding stock and want more airflow for gas mileage or whatever.. get a drop in filter. If you want upgraded flow, looks, and sound for around the same price get a short ram intake.
K&N is one of the best if not the best filter though.
On a mostly stock engine you might actually lose power with a short ram intake.
In terms of filters, I'd go with a Green Filter over a K&N anyday. I've compared the construction back to back, and the Green Filter has much better quality...
They're big in Europe and started marketing their products in the States a few years back. One of my local tuner shops did a side-to-side comparison with a K&N, and I was very impressed with the quality of the GreenFilter. I've got a K&N lifetime filter in my Camry, but the next filter I bought (for my Mustang) was a GreenFilter...
