Hey everyone!!

Hey guys,

I just got a 2004 Toyota Camry SE, I haven't anything to it other than keep it clean and added some Hyperwhite lights to it. I'd like to do some stuff to it, to make it unique, the last thing I want is to make it "rice" if you know what I mean. So are their any essential upgrades that I need done?

The last thing you want is to make it " rice". The first thing you did make is "rice" with those hyperwhite bulbs. You want a nice pair that has good colour and quality? Get Sylvania Silverstars. Did you the V6? or 4cyl?

Cmon man. Don't be a noob and tell him to get Silverstars. Forget that. Get HID.

Other "essential" upgrades would be the suspension. Make that cam handle real good.

Wow thanks a lot guys for the suggestions!!!! And thanks for the quick reply's, I know I'm gonna like this place

I wanted to get the Kenwood KVT-715DVD, it's the indash 7" dvd player, I think it would look pretty good with the way the whole dash is setup. What do you guys think? Here's a link to it.

Although I respect your opinion I'm going to have to dissagree. Are you saying that every Audi on the road is rice? Because my headlights look identicle to them. My deffinition of rice is: A car that has the annoying muffler, the stupid wing spoiler and the crappy sound system that when blasted all you hear is the vibration of loose rusty metal parts. There are a ton of items that when all added to a car together make them rice, but just because some 15 year old in your area that has the aboved mentioned with blue headlamps, doesn't make every car with blue headlamps rice.

^Somewhat. It's I guess now im going to have to side w/ liquid a lil more.

Having blue headlamps w/o HID is a bit ricey. Many ricers get bluish headlights to look like they have HID when they dont.

I say get the Eclipse AVN5435, ALOT better then the Kenwood, has built in Navi as opposed to the 1500 dollar addon kenwood unit.

The eclipse has way better SQ and Eclipse makes the factory navi, so this uses the same layout as the factory navigation.

Oh and it retails for 2100, it sells for around 1800 online.

If you want built in 30 GB hardrive then get the AVN5495, it's got 10 GB for Navi, which means faster nav response and you don't need a DVD for the navi

20 GB for mp3's and WMA files

Both units have sony memory stick slot for even more music.

Haha......first of all I aint noob.....I just dont post much. Second, yes ur right HID is a much better choice. I had Catz HID on my 01 Celica in the past. I now have OEM HID on my GS400. I just recommanded Silverstars cause the price is comparable to the blue bulbs whereas HID kits cost like 10-20 time more

Nono......I didn't mean that. Honestly a car with real deal Xenon HID lights are not rice. But i think when trying to copy something that has no advantage such as blue bulbs is rice. Yeah sure it looks great but it not brighter , rather dimmer compare to the stock bulbs. To me thats rice. also the definition of "rice" isn't just about copying and trying to look good in one way.....but rather ur also negatively affecting its performance.

lol, Don't take offense man. I was kidding.

And yeah i understand why i told him to get silver stars. But cmon man you know HID is the best. If you got like 310 bucks you can get a set from our vendors. It's a pretty good deal.
