Hey guys. I usually don't drive my camry and it sits under a cover about 99% of the time. I checked on it the other day and I noticed that the CF trunk is starting to HAZE in the rear corners (the flat part that usually has the emblems) on BOTH ends. It's becomming MILKY and it's REALLY bothering me since I show my car and it's an obvious BLEM. They were NEVER on the car before (I checked my trunk PHYSICALLY before I picked it up from Justin's house. I'm VERY anal about imperfections of items before they get on my car.
Anyone else with the CF trunk expriencing the same thing? Allen, want to chime in? I'll post up pics tomorrow. Thanks.

^ I have a VIS hood and I don't have any problems.
Keeping the car under a cover won't do anything like that to CF. It's probably a bad seal or something. Something needs to be done about these trunks though.

I have the vis hood too, for about a year, in a garage though. No problems with the stuff.
Hazing problems are always associated with the resin used. Most resins are designed to be painted on. I used some for my seats and rear speaker deck that was designed for fiberglass so I am a little worried about it. But it should be protected for a long time cause it is indoors and inside the car.
I would like to see those pics tomorrow cause I just bought a trunk.
Yeah, I think I can get it done during my lunch break and I'll post it up today.

I'm not sure if you can see them but it's a hazey look. At the time of the picture, the light kinda drowned the haze, but it's there.
I think my trunk is one of those "one of kind" things were it won't happen. They're on the way edge next to the rear quater panel on each side.

^ haven't tried. The funny thing is that my car is under the a car cover all the time. And under a car port. So there's no way that it can be UV damage.
